Our puppy package covers all the typical puppy issues: potty training; crate training; biting/chewing; whining/crying; jumping up; separation anxiety; obedience; good behaviour; walking on the leash; the come command; nutrition, and more.
Training for juveniles and adults tends to be very specific to particular issues. It could be aggression/reactivity to other dogs or people. Or it could be difficulty walking on the leash pulling here, there and everywhere. Or it could be the dog refusing to come when called. Regardless of the issue, dealing with juveniles and adults is often very easy and much simpler than puppies. Generally training for the adults is broken down into two main sections: behavioural and then practical. The behavioural side deals with who is the boss between the dog and the family, and then the practical follows that intervention with specific tasks to solve the underlying issue.
Aggression is easily summed up with the understanding that the dog is saying: stay away from my daddy/mommy. Fortunately, it’s super easy to switch things around where we convey to them that we are the boss and they don’t need to protect us, because the people they are barking at are our neighbours/friends, or other four legged cuties in the neighbourhood.
in the rare case, that a dog is truly aggressive, it just requires two extra hours of training, where we go through a bit of behavioural Boot Camp to steer them in the right direction and the right behavior.
